Kevin “Sling” Martin


Kevin “sling” Martin has over 20 years of professional aviation leadership experience in both operations and higher education. Mr. Martin actively lectures on campus at Liberty University as an Adjunct Professor both residentially and in the online classroom.

Sling has a 100% pass rate of flight students in each of the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Flight certificates. Serving as a 141-check instructor, Sling provides innovative instruction techniques with multifaceted technologies.

Mr. Martin has a proven record of designing and operating a FAA National Simulator Program (NSP Part 60 Certified), with over 10 years as the FAA’s Simulator Management Representative. During Covid Mr. Martin led a team that integrated technologies to earn a Letter of Authorization (LOA) for remote flight instruction to count in 141-flight training courses.

Mr. Martin is currently operational leading a team that is building UAS programs providing multifaceted security options for large scale planned and un planned events for local and federal agencies.

As an Eagle Scout with a master’s degree in Aeronautics, Mr. Martin loves to solve impossible challenges with excellence and preparedness. Problems do not exist; they are just challenges waiting to be solved.
